About Kicking Up Hope
Human trafficking is a serious illegal activity driven by financial gain.
Human trafficking is not just a distant crisis—it’s happening here in our own backyard. In the last Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force Report, there were 420 victims identified in Orange County, including 153 children. Traffickers prey on the vulnerable, regardless of age or background. At the Global Center for Women and Justice (GCWJ), we are responding with urgency and purpose—through Research, Education, Advocacy, and Collaboration—to confront this global injustice head-on.

We are training the next generation of frontline defenders: educators, parents, healthcare providers, social workers, and justice professionals. These are the voices and hands that will stop trafficking before it starts. But we can’t do it alone.
Join us for "Kicking Up Hope"—an evening dedicated to protecting the vulnerable and empowering those who stand in the gap. By attending "Kicking Up Hope" you will help fund our key event, "Amplify" which fuels our work and real change to build a safer world for our children and generations to come.
